All things Fall
Even if you are not a “Fall” person and prefer the warmer weather (who doesn’t??), this latte is amazing for all seasons! My Dalgona Pumpkin Spice Latte because it’s packed with flavour and has such amazing spices. I love a Dalgona coffee, and make it very often in Summer over ice. This recipe is slightly different as it omits the ice part but still has that gorgeous frothed coffee. This is one simple recipe and trust me it’s a great one! I hope you love this recipe, please leave a comment if you try it!
Steps to make a Dalgona Pumpkin Spice Latte:
How to make Dalgona Coffee?
This trend popped up during 2020, our first year of lockdown (almost worldwide) and it hasn’t stopped yet. This trend went viral and I definitely jumped on this band wagon. It’s a very simple technique where you combine instant coffee, water and sugar. The key is to whisk/froth the coffee until it becomes very thick and the colour will change to a light caramel shade. It’s very bitter, so I add sugar or maple syrup to the coffee before frothing it.
The coffee should look like this after whisking/frothing Add frothed milk to top it off
What spices can be used for this Dalgona Pumpkin Spice Latte?
I really try to create my own blend of spices to give it more of a “homey” feel. Understandably “pumpkin spice” can be bought at the store but if you find you can’t find it, this recipe will remedy that. You can add or take away any spices you don’t like. The cinnamon adds an anti-inflammatory aspect to the dalgona pumpkin spice latte, which is something I usually add to my coffee. Having PCOS, cinnamon and turmeric are often found in my recipes.
