My cookbook is finally here!
I have been dying to share this with you all! My Low-FODMAP Cookbook Pre-Orders are finally open and ready to go! This book has been in the making for the last year and I am so happy I can finally share it. Before I get in to exactly what the book has to offer I am going to tell you a little bit about it.
I started this book during the first wave of Covid-19 and the inspiration of the book has been a few years in the making. I have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) about five years ago, and it has been a struggle. While being in the midst of this, I had to teach my body how to tolerate certain foods again. I also had to learn how to remove products from my diet entirely.
Many doctors told me to follow the “Low-FODMAP” diet which means having foods that don’t trigger my IBS. Low-FODMAP stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols. In short this means that the small intestine absorbs sugars poorly. This results in cramping, diarrhoea, constipation and gas, which is very uncomfortable.
This cookbook has over 50 recipes, ranging from breakfast, to lunch and then dessert. All these recipes are geared towards leading a wholesome lifestyle. Food is not meant to hurt you or cause you any pain.Hence, why I created a list of recipes that can be enjoyed by everyone and also aid in your gut health. Now that the Low-Fodmap Cookbook Pre-Orders are open, let’s get into the nitty gritty.
Gluten-Free Options?
These recipes aren’t necessarily gluten-free or dairy-free, but they can be replaced by these alternatives. For example, I use a lot go gluten-free pasta in my cooking. That’s what I love about this book, you can add or subtract what you want to fit your lifestyle. There are no limits or boundaries to cooking and I really wanted to showcase that in this book.

What’s in the book?
My Low-FODMAP Cookbook has 60 recipes that range all the way from breakfast to dessert. As much as I love photographing sweet treats, food plays a major role in my life. I am a savoury person by nature, and these recipes are wholesome, nutritious and above all, easy on the gut. I will share a few images from the book, so you can really see what you are purchasing. This cookbook is for everyone who has a battle with food, those who feel that food can be headache to make and for those who struggle with various IBS symptoms.
